The Canadian Cigar Celebration is a Vancouver-based annual charity cigar event blending premium cigars, live music, premium spirits and cocktails, and the best people coming together to fund-raise for Easter Seals BC/Yukon in a festive atmosphere.

The Canadian Cigar Celebration began as the Caribbean Cigar Celebration in 2022 with the vision of bringing together a love of cigars and the culture of the Caribbean countries where the best cigars are grown to meet like minded cigar enthusiasts and raise money for a great charity: Easter Seals BC/Yukon.

Each year we have grown and improved, but the core of what we do remains the same: great cigars, cigar industry representatives and retailers, exciting live music and dance, incredible cocktails and spirits from sponsors including Flor de Caña Rum, Bearface Whisky, and The Dalmore, delectable treats from local restaurants, and an electric and congenial atmosphere that brings together people who love cigars.

New Name Same Great Cigar Community Event

In 2026 We made the decision to rebrand from the Caribbean Cigar Celebration to the Canadian Cigar Celebration because most of the vendors, suppliers and participants were Canadian and we wanted to celebrate the Canadian cigar culture and community. We have not lost our affection for the Caribbean countries and culture that produce the cigars we love, but we want to celebrate Canadian cigar retailers, distributors, and manufacturers, as well as beverages and food. If anything, the Canadian Cigar Celebration is even more diverse and exciting but we will never forget our roots.

To date, our event has raised a over $150,000 for Easter Seals BC/Yukon.

Easter Seals BC/Yukon

Easter Seals BC/Yukon is a charity supporting children and adults with disabilities through programs like accessible summer camps, the Easter Seals House (low-cost lodging for medical travel), and client services, aiming to build self-esteem and independence across British Columbia and the Yukon. It's a service of the BC Lions Society for Children with Disabilities, operating since 1947 to offer fun, supportive, and accessible experiences for diverse abilities.

Questions and Answers

Q: Can I smoke cigars at this event?

A: You certainly can! All outdoor areas are cigar friendly. No Smoking Indoors

Q: How much are tickets and what type of tickets are there?

A: We have two classes of tickets. See here for prices. The VIP tickets are limited in number and sell out quickly. VIP tickets include entry to the early event, premium cigars, a tasting of a premium spirit, a quality cigar accessory gift, and more. General Admission tickets include entry to the event.

Q: Can anyone come to the event?

A: Anyone who is at least 19 years old. You must bring valid ID.

Q: Can I bring my own cigars to smoke? Will cigars be available to purchase?

A: Yes you can and there will also be cigars for sale on site at event discounts. A portion of all purchases made on site goes to support Easter Seals BC/Yukon.

Q: Is there a dress code?

A: Nope. Come however you like. Dress up, dress comfortably...whatever you prefer. Fancy hats encouraged.

Q: What if it rains? What if it is too sunny?

We have tents and umbrellas. You may want to wear a hat.

Q: Is there seating?

A: Outdoor seating is limited, but there are some chairs and benches.
